Education

Currently 3rd year Architectural Studies student at Newcastle University, UK at current 2:1 degree level A Levels in Physical Eduction Studies, Product Design, Maths, Further Maths at the John Warner school, Hoddesdon (AABC respectively) GCSEs ranging A* to B with maths, english and science included.

Experience

I have tutored a number of students throughout secondary school in maths, PE and product design to help them achieve passing GCSE results and improve their A level projects. A level PE requires students to under take the design of a training program for another person. I trained a student to National level where they competed for the County at the National Cross Country finals where they did very well. Currently a student representative at the Newcastle University taking part in council meetings and representing the Architecture school at open days to encourage students to join the university. As 'Head boy' of the John Warner School, I was involved with a number of projects with younger students, included organising school council meetings, helping with sporting events, peer support programs, and attending school governor's meetings where I presented development ideas for a 6th form centre development, and student intentions. For a summer, was involved in the coaching of young children at athletics for the Enfield Council where children learnt to perform correct technique in many disciplines.

Hobbies

I am currently a 3rd year student studying Architecture at Newcastle Uni where I am hoping to continue for the next number of years to become a fully qualified architect. I was perviously a very good 800m athlete and competed at the European level before university, but due to illness unfortunately had to stop but am hoping to return to in the near future. At school, I was a fanatic sportsman participating in most sports teams and at a very good level. I was mainly interested in maths and science though out GCSEs and exceeded in design, which influenced my decision to study architecture as it combines maths, design and science all at the same time. I was the Head Boy of my secondary school, which was appointed by the students to be their representative to the senior members of staff and governors to help express the students needs and to help develop the school faster. This was a great achievement and enjoyed my time in this post.
