Experience
I have previously tutored 3 young children aged between 6-10 and have helped them to work through their homework and have tried to encourage them and give them the confidence that transfers through to the classroom. I want to be a tutor because as a child I was tutored for 4 years and really benefited from the experience. My tutor became my friend and I would like other children to share the benefits of tutoring. For GCSES i obtained all A and A*s and I love to learn and study. for A- level I was awarded 1A*, 1A and 1B in Drama, Economics and Geography. The school I used to go to was a high achieving girls school that developed an intellectual curiosity within me and gave me the courage to challenge and develop a love of learning. I used to work voluntarily at a nursery looking after small children between the ages of 2- 7 for one year at my local nursery which was invaluable experience. I also set up during my final year at high school a drama club for year 8 students where we explored contemporary theatre and improvised performances. It infused in them creativity and originality.

I am a girl with a sunny disposition and excellent communication skills. I am most definitely a people person who loves to interact with young people and children. I have ample patience and I believe by employing me to tutor your child I will go beyond teaching them and helping them with difficult topics I will develop a strong framework of determination; giving them opportunities to debate, make mistakes and aim to achieve the very best.
