Sally P.
Private tutor in Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom
Education
2008-2011 Bsc Marine Biology at Newcastle University
Experience
Completed Biology, Chemistry and Geography A levels in 2008 and am currently studying Marine Biology at Newcastle University. I have a lot of experience at studying sciences and can therefore relate well to the student experience and the problems current students face. I am passionate about all things biological and would love to pass on my enthusiasm for biology to others by teaching. I currently work for the University as a SAGE (Department of Science, Agriculture and Engineering) representative at open days and other events, and I have a wide range of experience working with the public, having worked in a cafe, a supermarket and a clothes shop. This has given me valuable communication skills which I will be able to apply to teaching.

I am passionate about conservation and spend my free time volunteering for Northumberland Wildlife Trust, which is involved in different conservation projects throughout the area. In the past I have also worked for the National Trust as an Assistant Conservation Warden, and I am a member of the University Conservation Society. My other main passion is music, I have recently learned to play the ukulele and frequently attend gigs and festivals in my spare time.
