Teaching assistant for GCSE music classes in St. Aidan's High School, Harrogate. Passed A level Music with A* I have aspirations to be a music teacher and to share my enthusiasm for music (and other skills) for current students. I have good communication skills and can explain terminology and relevant issues well. I easily relate to students and work well with them so that they feel at ease as I can explain a concept to them. Grade 8 oboe with distinction. Grade 8 piano with merit. Scott Aitkin Award for Extra-curricular music. A-level award for highest mark in Music.

I am interested in charity work, as I am currently applying for volunteering work to aid the homeless, such as "Crisis" in Newcastle. In my spare time I am an active member of the University Orchestra as the first oboist, and I am also involved in Latin and Ballroom dancing.
